Laddarens uteffekt är den effekt som laddstationen levererar. Energi till batteriet är det som faktiskt når fram: omkring 5 % går förlorat som värme och vid omvandling på vägen, och laddtiderna beräknas utifrån denna reducerade energimängd. Energi dividerad med tid ger därför ett värde som är cirka 5 % lägre än kolumnen för laddarens uteffekt.
