Hagerty
Hagerty is a major US-based automotive media channel connected to Hagerty, the classic and enthusiast-vehicle insurance, marketplace, and media company. It is not an EV-focused channel; its core identity is classic cars, collector vehicles, driving culture, restoration, and enthusiast storytelling. Hagerty describes its YouTube presence around helping enthusiast drivers “insure, buy/sell and enjoy their rides.”
The audience is mainly car enthusiasts rather than mainstream EV buyers. Videos often include classic-car features, barn finds, restorations, road trips, collector-market stories, drag races, and highly produced automotive documentaries. Well-known formats and presenters include Jason Cammisa, Redline Rebuild, Barn Find Hunter, and other enthusiast-focused series.
EVs appear occasionally, usually when they intersect with performance, technology, or car-culture debates. Hagerty is generally EV-neutral to ICE-leaning enthusiast-oriented: electric cars are treated seriously when they are fast, interesting, or historically significant, but the channel’s emotional center remains combustion cars, mechanical character, classics, and driving passion.
Production quality is very high, with polished cinematography, strong editing, scripted storytelling, and a TV-style approach. The “geek level” is moderate to high for car enthusiasts, especially around engineering, history, and vehicle dynamics, but it is not usually deep EV-specific analysis. It is best for viewers who enjoy broader car culture and want occasional EV context, not for people seeking charging tests, range data, or EV ownership guidance.
